LPGA Announces Television Package tour

The LPGA and Golf Channel have announced a 2011 television schedule that features a minimum of 45 days of tournament coverage.Much of that puerto rico resorts coverage will be live, including live coverage of two of the tour’s four major championships, the Kraft Nabisco March 31-April 3 and the Wegmans LPGA Championship from June 23-26.The new package begins an increase in live exposure for the LPGA. Last year a number of events were shown on a same-day deal basis. “As our relationship with Golf Channel continues to grow, we are pleased to increase our tournament coverage and showcase the talent and personalities of the LPGA’s global Japanese golf player keeps hope for national people stars,” said Jon Podany, LPGA Chief Marketing Officer. “Our telecasts will continue to feature unique elements and news coverage will emphasize our players outside the ropes.”
